Yutnori (윷놀이): Korean board game

On the second day of the Korean exchange program, we played a lot of Korean traditional games. We enjoyed the game called Yutnori (윷놀이), the Korean traditional board game that is often played in the New Year. To play this game, we need a board and draw the dots like the following photos (Remember to design one dot as the starting place)

For example, if your sticks look like this, it means 걸 Geol (You can move 3 blocks)

We spent a lot of great time playing Yutnori.

  1. I love playing 윷놀이! There’s a mobile app where you can play it with other people, it’s so fun! I would like to play the actual board game when I go to Korea.
Looks like you are having a lot of fun on your exchange programme! 🙂
