Our weekend kicked off with a bright morning strolling along the beach, nibbling the delicious cakes and sipping frothy coffee. The atmosphere was very fresh and cozy with many kinds of cakes and bread.
The breakfast buffet at Sai Gon- Mui Ne resort had an area for cakes and bread. The small corner of waffles and pancakes caught my sight at once. I love watching the little pancakes being flipped skilfully by. A batch of fluffy pancakes were laid on the dish and I couldn’t wait to drizzle the syrup or honey over them. The waffles were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The waffle maker was so fascinating that I wanted to buy one.
The sweet cake corner was interesting with many trays of cakes. Those little cupcakes with chocolate and vanilla flavor tasted very moist and delicious. The green cakes with pandan leaf flavor was a highlight thanks to the special scent of leaves. I was also fascinated by the croissants and other types of bread. Looking a row of baskets full of buttery croissants and freshly-baked bread made me feel very excited.
There was a corner for dressing, sauce, jam and other food to eat with bread. They provided the mayonnaise sauce, Thousand sauce, French dressing and Balsamic dressing. The dishes of orange, strawberry and pineapple jam were placed nicely next to the pandan cakes. Slices of hams, slabs of salted butter, smooth rich paste of pâté were really appetizing . The fresh vegetables and fruits such as cucumbers, tomatoes, watermelons, bananas were stored in the frozen shelf. There was also a table for cereal, milk, yoghurt, tea and coffee. This breakfast buffet at Sai Gon- Mui Ne resort was totally awesome.
