Goma Kimbap or mini Kimbap (꼬마 김밥) is one of the favourite foods for the lunchbox or picnic. Kimbap is Korean rice wrapped in seaweed and Goma(꼬마) means kiddie or mini, so Goma Kimbaps are very small rice rolls wrapped in seaweeds.
I had a chance to make Goma Kimbap with the instructions of Korean friends. They prepared the rice and other ingredients, so it was very easy to make the rice rolls. We mixed the rice with sesame oil and seasonings. The scent was very charming. Then, we used a bamboo roller, put the seaweed and rice on the top. Then we put sliced fried eggs, pickled radish and sausage on the rice.
