The Lunar New Year is coming, so a year-end party is an indispensable activity in the last days of 2014. We even had 2 or 3 weeks off for the Tet holiday so my family, relatives, friends, colleagues organized a lot of parties. Everyone enjoyed the festivities so much that we were afraid of gaining weight after the holiday.
Anyway, it is time for relaxing, so I do not care much about diet or weight. The biggest year-end party I have joined was with my new colleagues. This party was a good chance for us to gather and share moments together. I had a chance to make friends with new colleagues and share the working experience.
We preserved a big room at Dong Dao coffee shop on Cach Mang Thang Tam street. This place was very beautiful and magnificent with greeneries, statues, floral chairs and so on. I guessed it would look very bright and impressive in the daylight, but we came there in the evening, so we could not enjoy the scenery. The room was bigger than I thought and there was even a slide for us to show the video. The decorations were absolutely stunning with many unique objects.
We had a great time dancing, singing, chatting and playing games. The food was delicious. The fried fish balls, meat balls, spring rolls, sausages, eggs and dumplings tasted crunchy and flavoursome with the hot sauces. We also had fried chicken with fried rice and vegetables. A lot of tropical fruits such as guavas, mangoes and plums were served as fresh desserts. I really enjoyed this party.
