Happy Teachers’ Day

November 20th 2014 is the 32nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day. Many activities are organized in appreciation of teachers on this special day. Through those activities, students have the opportunity to express their respect and feelings to teachers.

Asparagus Soup with seafood
Roasted pork
Steamed buns
Beef ragout and bread
Seafood fried rice

I remember when I was a student, I and my friends often prepared a small party with flowers, food and pieces of paper filled with our wishes for our beloved teachers. The teachers day this year is very different because this is my first time joining a teachers’ day party. We had a great time reviewing the moments of our work, enjoying great music performances and savouring delicious food.

  1. Reminds me that a Vietnamese friend sent letters to his ex-teachers when I lived in Japan, maybe for Teacher’s Day. Vietnamese really respect teachers, I think?
