[Hansarang center] Topic: Traditional Korean Games with team B

Ah, today we played the game 윷놀이 (a traditional board game played in Korea, especially during Korean New Year) I have heard this game many times before, but I haven’t had a chance to play. Now my wish is fulfilled. For more info. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yut

Some challenges in the game:

가위바위보 : Game Rock, Paper, Scissors

병뚜껑: Throw the bottle cap. Each person Places a bottle lid on the start line and then throw it. After all players throw items, The farther the bottle lid  goes, the higher scores you get.

손뼉치기: Two people faced to each other and then clapped their hands. Only their hands can move, it they move their feet or fell down, they failed.

손가락 : fight with your fingers

베토벤: Player 1 says 베. Player 2 says 토. Player 1 says 벤, Player 2 says  베.Player 1 says 토. Player 2 says 벤. Player 1 says 베, Player 2 says 토….. Just keep saying like this rule in turn as fast as possible. One who cannot say the right word fails

참참참: You have to move your head in the way opposite the hand of the opponent. You can watch this clip in which Taeyeon, Yuri, Taecyeon…. played this game. ^^ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-Zo_T1k7JE

Second game is similar to the game we played yesterday. However, there were more challenges. * When X stopped saying “무궁화꽃이피었습니다, everyone stopped moving.

* When X stopped saying “앉은뱅이꽃이피었습니다“, everyone sat down immediately

 * When X stopped saying “나팔꽃이 피었습니다“, everyone moved around and around.

The third game was 투호 that requires players to throw sticks into a large, sometimes ornate, canister from a certain distance. The game is a traditional diversion on Korean New Year’s Day and Chuseok  (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuho)
