Today the Korean teacher told us about the Namdaemun Market (남대문 시장) in Korea and suddenly acted an illustrative example which startled all of the students. We were bewildered, so he had to draw the illustrative example on the board.
After a few minutes of being shocked, I and Coco recovered our composure and tried to figure out what he was saying with our little Korean. Yeah, just the word “화장실” and we understood all. Couldn’t help laughing…..=)))))) Namdaemun means “South Gate”, but it also means a man’s open zipper as a slang term .
